Lost dog
While out walking my two labradors we were joined by a very friendly puppy.
After a few moments I realised there was nobody with the dog. Usually when a dog goes astray there is someone shouting its name but nothing was heard.
The pup got on really well with my dogs so we carried on to the car but still no sign of the owner.
There was a tag on the collar of the lost dog with a mobile phone number, my mobile was at home on charge, so thought at least we could all go home in the car and phone from home. After a while walking up and down the road and speaking to another dog walker who had not come across anyone else while out we set off for home.
The lost pup was easy to get in the car and got on ok with my dogs even when we got home to a drink of water and some biscuits.
The owner was relieved to get the phone call and came and collected the pup.
What an exciting morning.
